Ferme Bourdon & Fils Inc., the first choice for milk producers in the Eastern Townships

Located in Compton in the magnificent Eastern Townships, Ferme Bourdon & Fils Inc. is a multi-disciplinary operation specializing in agriculture.

Established in 1978, it benefits from the unsurpassed dedication that comes with experience, as well as the youthful enthusiasm of a third and fourth generation of farmers who love what they do. Pushing their passion to the limit, the company's founders have worked tirelessly over the past 30 years to diversify their expertise, so they could excel in various agricultural specialities while enabling a fifth generation to prepare for a future in an industry that never stops changing.

Still actively involved in milk production, Ferme Bourdon & Fils Inc. owns and cultivates 1,450 acres of land, on which it grows hay, corn, grain and soybeans on a rotating basis. Our ornamental horticulture division grows sod; we also operate a traditional-style sugar bush and produce saw timber through selective cutting on our wood lots.

Over the years, Ferme Bourdon & Fils Inc. has developed various custom services. For example, a mobile soybean roasting unit has been available to local farmers since 1999. In 2006, we introduced a soybean oil extrusion and extraction service. In addition, our ornamental horticulture division offers sod laying services to consumers.
