Purchased in 1996 by Ferme Bourdon & Fils inc., the Eastern Green Acres ( Les Arpents Verts de l'Estrie) is a farm that produces sod since 1972. The sod is now produced by the Bourdon Familly as well  as dairy and grains has been produced over the last 50 years.      Traveling on the route 147 will give you the opertunity se see some beautyfull fields of sod at Compton, one of the Eastern Township's most beautifull village for its agricultural land, between the city of Sherbrooke and Coaticook.

     Our own  researches made in our fields with many different variaties of Kentucky Blue grasses enables us to offer our costumers  the most appropriate sod for the Eastern Townshipe's climate. Our sod complies for all uses, residential, commercial, and sports fields. The needs of our customers is granted with the hi-quality of our sod years after years.
